The SUB 300T PROFESSIONAL is 'Dirk Pitt's watch'. This is the watch made famous by Clive Cussler's hero in over 120 million books. It was the first dive watch to have luminous indicators on an orange face and also a revolutionary non compression dive table on the bezel. The watch was produced from 1967 to 1977 and was a favourite with divers worldwide. The face has the US Divers logo on it because at the time US Divers were the main distributers for the SUB 300T in the USA. The back also had the original Doxa sailing boat logo which was replaced by a fish for the 2002 limited edition (1000 pieces) reissue. These photos were supplied by Michael Fall at www.michaelwatch.com. Fredrik Karlsson sent the picture of the manual and tag that were supplied with the old Doxa - Synchron version of the 300T PROFESSIONAL. Certainly nicer than the single piece of paper distributed with the re-issue models. Michael Wall supplied the pictures of his absolutely pristine SUB 300T. It has the original Stainless Steel bracelet and even the screwdriver supplied with the watch.
